Citroën Ami Buggy, the most "tough" beach version that will attract all eyes and can be driven without a driver's license.

In the five years since the Ami was on the market, Citroën has won over 75,000 customers in 17 European countries with its casual approach to clean, youthful, accessible, and easy-going urban mobility. Now, the brand with the two chevrons is updating and modernizing its small electric city car while expanding and enriching its range by offering the Buggy variant year-round, no longer as a limited special edition, but as a permanent version.
The Ami 2025 arrives with a completely new redesign that makes it more friendly, mature, and expressive. It is now available—orders open on May 6 in major European markets—in the new Night Sepia color, launched late last year, and with three new color packs: Spicy, Icy, and Minty. It's just as affordable as before, with tight prices across Europe. Prices start at €7,990; the Ami Color Pack costs €8,390; the Ami Buggy, from €9,590; and the Ami Buggy Palmeira, at €9,990.

Citroën has updated the Ami, the electric quadricycle whose symmetry plays an essential role in its design and manufacturing cost control.
The latter arrive to enrich the offering and expand the family with a model previously limited to special editions that will now be available year-round. With a more adventurous spirit and a more open-minded character, the Ami Buggy boasts a playful and daring presence that invites you to enjoy fun, playful, and leisure-oriented mobility.
The new Citroën Ami retains its essential formula: an electric range of 75 km, rechargeable in 4 hours from a standard 220V socket, agility, simplicity, and accessibility. In some countries, driving is permitted from the age of 14; in Spain, it can be driven from the age of 15 with an AM license . This friendly quadricycle provides young people—and not so young—with a simple solution, which did not exist until now, for safe travel, protected from the elements, and with great agility thanks to its measurement of just 2.41 m and its turning radius of 7.20 m. It can also accommodate two people and is very easy to handle, not exceeding 45 km/h.

Identical in size to the previous generation, the 2025 Ami features a revised front and rear axle and a reinforced personality. Its headlights are now raised to the base of the windshield and surrounded by black trim, giving it a more expressive look and a new balance to the front end. These two lights are connected by a new capsule shape, which welcomes the brand's new André Red logo and is embodied in a piece shaped like a wide smile, reinforcing the Ami's playful side.
The hubcaps can be reminiscent of Lego pieces and reinforce the perception of the vehicle's width. The lower part loses its roundness in favor of more pronounced edges and more vertical surfaces, creating "bumps" on the sides. In front of the wheels, the hubs resemble Lego pieces and reinforce the perception of width, offering a better view of the car on the road. They also act as protective bumpers at the Ami's four corners. The side section now includes molded grooves in the front right and rear left fenders as a nod to the illustrious 2CV, with which it shares the same philosophy of simplicity and ease of use.

It lacks a multimedia system, but it has a support for the mobile phone to perform that function.
These developments in the front end are also found in the rear, as symmetry is a fundamental element of the Ami, designed from the outset to allow for the sharing of components and thus achieve better cost control through lower investment. Therefore, the doors, front and rear bumpers, fenders, windshield pillars, and rear windows are all made from the same molds and greatly contribute to its original character.
